When the resident artists at OPEN Ealing Arts Centre contributed to a joint exhibition, for what was supposedly the 'end' of the use of the building by the organisation, Sean Pearce also held an exhibition on the floor above. The impact of both bold black and stark white, against a spacious, neutral background led me to compose a poem. I have named it in honour of the title that Sean Michael Pearce gave the exhibition: 

'OPEN Ended'
